Mrs. McKissack was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a Civil Servant for the Department of Defense, and of the Methodist faith. Survivors include: 3 Daughters- Davina Maynard of Huntsville, AL; Athena Maynard of Huntsville, AL; Shawnda Tiernan of Franklin, TN; 2 Brothers- William “Buddy” McKissack of Loretto, TN; Chris McKissack of Loretto, TN; 5 Grandchildren- Lydia Maynard, Jami Burns, Timothy Warren, Amberle Maynard, & Alton Jones; 6 Great Grandchildren; The Graveside Service will be officiated by David Byrd. Burial will follow in Dunn Cemetery.
