Marciel, also known as Susie was born at home in Cherokee, Alabama on November 5, 1924 to Ellis and Ola Miller. She was a devoted employee at Robbins Tire and Rubber Company for over thirty years. After her retirement she became a full time loving selfless caretaker for twenty years to her husband, and true love, Bobby, until he passed in 2001. She had a heart for people and would help anyone in need. She was a leader, head of our household and the glue that bound her family together. She always gave of herself selflessly and was a loving caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always took the time to genuinely slow down to listen to her family and “make everything all right”. She loved unconditionally. Her pride and joy were her great-grandchildren. She spoke positivity to them daily and was proud of each of their accomplishments. She loved Alabama and Steelers football. Roll Tide Roll!!! The family expresses a special thanks to all 3rd and 4th floor staff at Helen Keller Hospital for all their care and concern this past month. Thank you to Clay her nurse this past week for making her comfortable and showing her respect and caring. Pallbearers are Ronald Mellott, Chris McMeans, Allen Thomas Smith, William Hovater, Tommy Bohannon and Mike Pyle. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Launch Point Church.
