Vivian Wydean Walters  Wydean Walters Obituary
1946-2026
With broken hearts, we announce that Wydean Walters entered eternity on Wednesday, October 15 at Shepards Cove Hospice facility in Albertville.

Wydean was the youngest of 8 children born to Bular Jane Hall Drain and Rufus Drain. Wydean worked 40+ years at the carpet mill in Boaz, AL. Following her retirement, Wydean enjoyed gardening, planting flower beds and spending time with family. Wydean’s love language was helping everyone she could in any way she could, whether it was providing food or running errands. Her favorite part of the day was sitting on the front porch enjoying her morning cup of coffee and visiting with her neighbors who stopped by. She was married to Harold Eugene Walters for 55 years. He preceded her in death in September 2022. She is also preceded in death by her six siblings.

Wydean is survived by her daughter, Paula Yeager (Steve), her grandson, Brandon Yeager of Huntsville, and her sister Celestine Camp of Lebanon, TN, along with many heartbroken nieces and nephews who dearly loved her as much as she loved them. Wydean loved having a house full to feed and spend family time with. She so very much-loved spending time with her grandson, Brandon. Wydean will be greatly missed by so many.

The family will receive friends and family Sunday, October 18, from 12:30-2:00 at Albertville Memorial Funeral Home followed by service by Pastor Ron Hayes. Pallbearers will be Steve Yeager, Brandon Yeager, Roy Stanley, Jaime Cash, James Center and Sammy Scott. The burial will immediately follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
