Cora Etta Jarrett Browning, 90, went to be with the Lord Monday, October 12, 2026. Everybody that new Cora knew that she was a special person and loved with all of her heart. Her family and her devotion to God was the most important to her. She was a member of Martin Baptist Church. She was kind, compassionate, put others first, and never met a stranger. She survived cancer twice. Every summer she put up vegetables from their garden but her most favorite thing to do was go camping with her family and friends. We want to take this time to recognize the wonderful people at Church Street Manor who took such good care of her and loved her. Especially her friend, Mrs. Helen Stubblefield the sister that she never had. Cora was born on June 23, 1936, to Ocie and Gertrude Jarrett of the Shady Grove Community. She married Lannie Browning on October 2, 1954, and they were married for 67 years.
