Wanda Joyce Nash Profile Photo It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Wanda Prestage Nash, who left this world on October 13, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on August 25, 1956, in Aberdeen, Mississippi, Wanda was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew her. Wanda was the cherished daughter of Martha and LC Prestage. She was the oldest of nine children, a role she embraced with grace and nurturing care, acting as a second mother to her siblings. Her vibrant spirit and unwavering faith in the Lord were a guiding light for her family and friends. Wanda’s life was a testament to the power of love and family. She was predeceased by her husband, Steve Nash, and her son, Steven Ray, whose memories she cherished deeply. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Tommy, Billy, and David, her sister Carol, and her grandchild, Kelsey. Her legacy continues through her surviving children: her son, Anthony Mask and his wife Jade, and her daughter, Mary Ann George. Wanda was a devoted grandmother to Kodi, Kassidy, TJ, Ava, Grayson, Kimberly, and Candace, and a great-grandmother to Bryson and Oliver. Her love for her family was boundless, and she took immense joy in their accomplishments and happiness. Wanda is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Hudson and Sondra Hulsey and her husband Ricky, her brothers Lewis Prestage and Larry Prestage with his wife Rachel, as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Wanda’s passions were simple yet profound. She adored the music of Elvis Presley, found joy in the taste of Coca Cola and Reese’s peanut butter cups, and most importantly, she treasured the time spent with her family. Her home was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and warmth. A service to honor Wanda’s life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home. David Hudson will officiate the service. While we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, we also celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Her life was a testament to kindness and generosity, and it is in this spirit that we hope to continue her legacy. Wanda Prestage Nash will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, and she will be dearly missed by all.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until service time Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home.
