Christopher Pitt, 57, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at his home.
Funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home with Tommy Hale officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with funeral at 2:00 p.m.
Chris worked for Morris Plumbing for over 16 years.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Airl “Bud” Pitt and mom, Ruth Pitt; brother, Danny Pitt; and step-granddaughter, Maria LeAnn Holt.
He is survived by his wife, Geniffer Pitt; step-daughter, Annie Holt; step-grandson, Braxton Sivley; five sisters, Jewell Newsom (Ray), Jeanette Wenzel (Terrill), Jerrie Nell Terry (Ronald), Robin Woodruff (Joe), and Charlotte Bruner (Mike); and four brothers, John Pitt (Tanya), Andy Pitt (Melissa), Tony Pitt (Sharon), and Tim Pitt (Sharon).
Pallbearers will be nephews.
