Patricia Lynn Hampton Patricia Lynn Hampton “Pat”, age 70, passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2026, at home surrounded by family. She was born on August 31st, 1956, to Laudie and Marcia Henson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Laudie and Marcia Henson; sister, Debra Kyle; brother, Kelly Henson.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Henry Hampton; stepdaughter, Jennifer Webb (Kevin); niece, Debbie Taylor; nephew, Marty Kyle; sister, Kathy Long (Shane); great-nieces, Cheyenne Clem (Dakota) and Shelby Harville (Austin); great-nephew, Landon Kyle (Taylor); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition, many great nieces and nephews, along with her furbabies, and her close friends, David and Mary Sandlin.

Pat loved having her own pet grooming business for 24 years. She loved going to the beach and going camping. She really loved spending time with her dogs. She was the first female firefighter in Clements and the first female in the National Guard to complete basic training. She was also a member of the Athens Limestone Rescue Squad.

The family would like to thank David and Mary for their support and assistance and also Affinity Hospice for their care. The family would also request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Affinity Hospice, http://seasonsfoundation.org and AM Vets Post 21.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 9th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services for Pat will be held Thursday, September 10th, at 10 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Kasey Harbin officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyhill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danley Bradford, Dakota Clem, David Sandlin, Austin Harville, Donnie Kyle and Landon Kyle.
