Darian Rummell, 87 of Arab passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at his residence. He was born February 10, 1939 in Creekside, Pennsylvania, the son of Ansley Rummell and Margaret Elizabeth Potts Rummell. He served with honor and courage in the United States Army and was a retired concrete finisher.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Swezeny Rummell; son, Gary Beck (Gina); brother-in-law, Richard Swezeny (Susan); sister-in-law, Elizabeth Swezeny; niece, Becca Swezeny Gelfond (Brian); nephew, Julian Swezeny.
The family chose to honor his wishes with cremation with no formal service. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Rummell family with cremation.
