Johnny Fayette Roszell, age 76, of Oxford, Alabama, passed away on September 3, 2026
surrounded by his loving family at his residence. He was born on March 20th 1950 to the late Louise and W.T. ‘Bill’ Roszell of Oxford Alabama.
Johnny was well loved by his friends at Waffle House, where he spent almost every day. He retired from Beshears Tractor after 25 years and spent his retirement sitting on the porch and waving at everyone who drove by. He was a compassionate man with a huge heart, filled with love for all of his family. He loved old classic cars, football, holidays, and spending time with family, especially his grandson, Ethan.
Johnny is survived by the love of his life, Joyce Roszell; his daughter, Michelle(Stuart) Burson; his grandson, Ethan Burson; sister Margaret Kelley; brothers Lewis Roszell, Billy Roszell, Jimmy(Vivian) Roszell, Don Roszell, Scott(Renae) Roszell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Johnny’s life will be held at a later date.
