Linda Diane Smith was promoted to her Heavenly Home on August 13, 2026. She was born on March 11, 1951, in Russellville, AL to the late Will Gasaway and Augusta Williams. She was married to the late Donnie Wayne Smith.
After years of loyal service, Linda retired from Gold Kist. She was affiliated with the CME Church and graduated from Reedtown High School. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping and simply relaxing at home. Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who loved her Lord, family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Pearl Groce; brothers, Eugene Hamilton, Willie Hamilton, Frank Hollingsworth.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Williams Miller and Tina Williams; granddaughter, Dr. Kaitlyn Miller; grandson, Jaime Harden; sister, Mary Kate Hubbard; brothers, Edward Gasaway, and Tommy Hamilton; Special friends Tommie Ann Phillips, Mildred Carter, girlfriends Jeanette Sargeant, Linda Suggs and Pam Lyle.
