Jonathan Shane Beavers, age 53, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026. The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Shane Swinney and Bro. Chris Miller officiating the service. The burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield.
Shane was a big-hearted family man who loved his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching his sons and grandchildren play sports and loved his furbabies, Bella and Pearl.
He is survived by his wife, Mandy Beavers; children, Blake Beavers (Rachel), Drake Beavers (Summer), Jordan Beavers (Madison), Ali Looney (David), Morgan Kastberg (Greg), Abbey Rikard, Logan Rikard (Samantha); mother, Glenda Beavers; brother, Brett Beavers; grandchildren Finleigh, Kasen, Harper, Baylor, and Mylee Beavers; Mia, Mamie, Ace, and Lydia Kastberg; Tatum and Myla Yarbrough; Sawyer Rikard, niece, Savana King (Justin); great-nieces, Wrenleigh, Waverly, and Whitley; mother-in-law, Carroll Murner; aunt Janice Ellison (Chris); and cousins, Laurie & Jeff Stafford, Erica Ellison; as well as other cousins and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Beavers; grandparents, John Beavers, Juanita Beavers, Junior Grissom, Hazel Grissom; and father-in-law, Donnie Murner.
The pallbearers will be Cory Blake, Blake Beavers, Drake Beavers, Jordan Beavers, Brett Beavers, and David Looney. The honorary pallbearers will be Chris Hill, Derick Jones, Rico Felton, Linzy King, Kasen Beavers, Tatum Yarbrough, Pop Williams, Ricky Richardson, Logan Rikard and Baylor Beavers.
