Dorothy Virginia Simbeck, age 85, of Loretto, TN passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, at NHC Healthcare Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, a homemaker, and of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandbabies, watching Braves baseball, and watching Hallmark movies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel Paul McClaren and Retha Slagle Hagan; her husband, Alvin Simbeck; and her daughter, Lisa Simbeck Rouse.
She is survived by one daughter, Kay Toungette (Smitty); one granddaughter, Misty Holloway (Jason); one grandson, Justin Rouse; two great-grandchildren, Abby Holloway and Kelsey Holloway; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Mars Hill Baptist Church.
