Mary Kathleen Cook, age 75, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at her residence. She was a native of Murfreesboro, TN, a graduate of Madison Academy, a retired clerk at God’s Storehouse, and of the Christian Faith. Ms. Cook enjoyed retirement and taking care of her pets.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Sarah Hooper Wax.
She is survived by her son, Mike Stanfield of Nashville, TN; sister, Jeanie Moreno of Nashville, TN; sister, Geraldine Rich and brother-in-law, Ron Rich of Dickson, TN; and nephew, Marlon Moreno, his wife, Katheryn, and grand-nephew, Aiden of Wesley Chapel, FL.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. No services are scheduled at this time.
