Chadrick Thomas Collins, 46, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on June 4, 2026.
Born on September 6, 1979, Chadrick was the beloved son of Bradley Thomas Collins and Connie Faulks Hicks. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, and friend whose life was centered around faith, family, and hard work.
Chadrick worked in management of manufacturing for Toyota Corporation, a profession that suited his talent for fixing, building, and understanding how things worked. He was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need.
Outside of work, Chadrick enjoyed many hobbies and interests. He was an avid wrestling fan, coach and mentor. He was one of the founding members of the East Limestone wrestling program. He also had a creative side and enjoyed woodworking and pottery, finding satisfaction in creating things with his hands. Above all else, Chadrick’s greatest joy in life was his family. He treasured every moment spent with those he loved and took pride in being a devoted husband, father, son, and brother.
He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Collins; his son, Carson Collins; his parents, Bradley Collins and Connie Hicks (Rickey); his sisters, Katerri Adams (Jason) and Valerie Moran (Jim); his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rex and Ronda Tucker; his brother-in-law, Allen Tucker (Amy); and numerous extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Lindsay Lane Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Troy Perry officiating. He will be laid to rest at Copeland Cemetery in Athens, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Carson Collins, Allen Tucker, Greg Alred, Tim Swart, Stace Tedford, and Jason Adams. Honorary pallbearer will be Richard Rigsby.
Chadrick will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, strong work ethic, and unwavering love for his family. The memories he created, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Though his time on earth was far too short, his legacy of love, dedication, and friendship will never be forgotten.
