  Glenn Clark.jpgGlenn Eric Clark, age 97, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and a life well lived. Born on December 25, 1928, in Duffield, Virginia, Glenn was the cherished son of the late Charles Bradley Clark and Sarah Margaret Carter.

Glenn’s 36-year career with the Tennessee Valley Authority was marked by numerous accomplishments and several relocations for his family. His career advancements took him to Russellville, Kentucky; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Bowling Green, Kentucky; and ultimately Killen, Alabama, where he was promoted to Plant Manager at the Colbert Fossil Plant. He retired in 1991, concluding a distinguished tenure with TVA.

After retiring, Glenn embraced his passion for farming, raising cattle until a minor stroke led him to return to Bowling Green. Always seeking ways to make a difference, Glenn extended his kindness, wisdom, and mentorship to young people and those striving to build better lives. He leaves behind countless individuals who carry treasured memories of his guidance and friendship. Glenn was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, his wife Nell, and his son, Robert Glenn Clark.

He is lovingly survived by his two daughters, LuAnn Boger (Bruce) of Toccoa, Georgia, and Barbara Jean Cherry (Lee) of Bowling Green, Kentucky. His four grandchildren, Elizabeth Allison Boger, Rebecca Nell Boger (Gregg), Joseph Bradley Clark Cherry (Haley), and Lauren Leigh-Nicole Benefield (Clint)—were a source of immense pride and joy. Glenn also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Olivia Lennon Benefield, Cooper Lee Benefield, and Laurel Moxie Merrill Cherry.

A funeral service was held in Bowling Green, Kentucky at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
