It is with profound shock and heavy hearts that the family of, Roger W. Terry, 67, of Tuscumbia, AL., announces the unexpected passing on July 29, 2026.
He was born on May 13, 1959 to Robert and Mary Terry. “He was a wonderful husband that was a God send.” Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 1-2 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2 pm in the chapel. Officiating Roger’s homegoing service will be his nephew, Del Huckaba. Burial will be in Colbert Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.
Roger was a member of Jubilee Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; (father) Robert F. Terry, (mother) Mary P. Terry; granddaughter, Gabriella Martinez; and sister, Nancy Bary.
Roger is survived by his wife of 20 years, Debby Terry; son, Bobby Terry; daughters, Misty Terry and Tiffany Sexton; stepson, Kyle Davis.
Roger, known as Pawpaw to eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; siblings (sister), Sheila Huckaba (Danny); (Brother), Bennie Terry; mother-in-law, Faye Gargis; and a host of nieces, nephews, and family.
The sudden loss leaves an unfilled void in our lives; his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
Pallbearers will be Josh Pate, Codie Terry, Tyler Terry, Danny Huckaba, Joel Kimbrough, Robin Hopkins, Billy Holden, and TJ Waddell.
