Dorothy Jean “Jeannie” Pruett, age 79, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026. Born on March 30, 1947, to the late Elmer Garren and Mary Irene Creed, Jeannie lived a life filled with dedication, simple pleasures, and deep love for her family. She spent 19 impactful years working in Administration for Bulkmatic Transport, splitting her time and career between the Decatur, Illinois, and Decatur, Alabama offices. Outside of work, Jeannie knew how to enjoy the finer, simpler moments of life….
