$72,836 to upgrade the video surveillance systems

MONTGOMERYThe Alabama Department of Homeland Security today announces that the Alabama State House has been awarded a grant in the amount of $72,836 to upgrade the video surveillance system in both the House and Senate committee rooms and hallways.

 

“The protection of critical infrastructure in Alabama is one of the key missions of the Alabama Department of Homeland Security,” Director Collier said.  “I’m excited that we are able to make this investment to protect the legislators and staff who work in the Alabama State House and the citizens who visit.”

 

The grant is divided in to $35,000 to be awarded to the Senate facilities with $37,836 to be awarded to the House.
