LaRose Barrier – Obituary

LaRose Barrier, 67, of Florence, passed away at her home on Friday, July 6, 2012.

 

The visitation will be at Elkins Funeral Home Saturday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ralton McCarley officiating. Burial will follow in the Richardson Cemetery.

 

LaRose was a graduate of Waterloo High School. She became a registered nurse and worked at E.C.M. Hospital for several years. Her love of travel and sense of adventure led her to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia where she worked at King Fahd Military Medical Complex. After retiring, she returned home and enjoyed her grandchildren.

 

She is survived by a daughter Pam Linville and huband Hank of Florence; grandchildren Noah Linville and wife Amber, Terrah Emmons and husband Craig and Miranda Linville; great-grandchildren Mehki Linville, Addison Emmons, Kailee Blake Emmons and Rose Emmons.

She was preceded in death by her parents Col. Edward LaRose Branham and Rua Jane Risner Branham and a step-father Smythe Richardson.
