Daryle Lamont Houston Sr. – Obituary

Daryle Lamont HoustonDaryle Lamont Houston Sr. was born September 14, 1970. He passed
away unexpectedly May 11, 2019 in Pulaski, Tennessee. He was the
youngest child of David Alexander and Verna Dean Houston. Waiting
for him in Heaven are his maternal grandparents Alfonzo and Clara
Dean Braden; paternal grandparents, William Albert and Emma Lee
Houston and his brother David Alexander Houston Jr.
Daryle will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. He will be
remembered fondly for his dependability, kindness and his brilliant
smile that lit up any room he entered. His sense of humor was like his
father’s – he enjoyed a good prank and sharing a joke with loved ones
and friends. Daryle also shared another passion with his family –
fishing, as a young child, Daryle gained a love of fishing from his grandfather,
Daddy Albert and his father David. Daryle also enjoyed entertaining
the family during the Fourth of July and family gatherings.
Daryle graduated from Evanston Township High School and was
employed by Federal Express. He was a wonderful son, brother,
husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Visitation will be 10:00 until 12:00 Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral home.
The burial will follow in the Braden Cemetery in Lynnville, Tennessee.

To cherish his memory, Daryle leaves his loving wife, Sandra Banks
Houston. They united in Holy Matrimony July 27, 1996. To this
union they have children: Daryle Lamont Houston Jr., Terrence
Winslow Jr., and LaShanda Banks, all of Evanston, Illinois. He also
leaves devoted parents, David Alexander and Verna Dean Houston
(Pulaski, TN); sisters, Kimberly Houston ( John Diamond Sr.) and
Angelia (Mark) Wilson, all of Illinois. Aunts: Mary Drake (Lynnville,
TN), Coma Cotham (Pulaski, TN), Dorothy Hardison (Pulaski, TN),
Marie (Gerald) Martin (Brentwood, TN), and Sandra ( Johnny) Allen
(Inkster, MI). Uncles: Burley (Helen) Houston (Detroit, MI) and
Buford (Yvette) Houston (Chicago, IL); mother-in-law Janie Banks
(Chicago, IL), father-in-law Leroy Banks (Des Moines, IA). He also
leaves behind four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins
and friends.
Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Daryle L Houston.
