Troy Wade Forsythe, 76, of Tanner, AL passed away at his residence on May 6, 2024. He was born on November 26, 1947, in Lester, AL.He graduated from Lauderdale County High School in 1966 and Walker County Technical School in 1967 with a certification in Welding.
He was retired from Delphi Automotive Systems as a maintenance engineer.
Troy was a jack of all trades with a talent to build or repair most anything, a huge sports enthusiast and of the Church of Christ faith.
Visitation will be held at Spry Funeral Home in Athens, AL on Saturday, May 11th from 11:00-1:00 with service to following at 1:00 in the funeral home chapel with Terry Herston officiating. He will be laid to rest at Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Lillie Forsythe; brother, Roger Forsythe.
Survivors include his daughter, Cynthia Rena Forsythe; son, Christopher Michael Forsythe and a host of extended family and friends.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
