William L. “Bill” Hill, age 80 of Trussville, AL passed away on August 13, 2024. He was born of September 27, 1943 in Lawrenceburg, TN. He grew up on a small farm in Tennessee and he worked tirelessly with his brothers, John and Ronnie. He went to technical school to learn how to operated different machines that he used daily. He and his wife, Carol created their own business called Precision Industries. He married his wife, Carol in 1962 and had two children, Brent and Kelly. He moved to Alabama and bought some land and built his famous underground house and a machine shop sitting next to it. Sadly Carol passed away in 2000. He mourned her until his death. He found someone special in his life and her name is Debra Morgan and they dated for twelve years. He always had a love for fast cars, his favorite was being corvettes. His favorite corvette was a 1958 which he still has in his procession. He owned two more corvettes.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol and his brother, John.

He is survived by his son, Brent Hill; daughter, Kelly Martin (John); brother, Ronnie Hill; his sister, Tudy Barnett and grandchildren, John Martin, III and Corey Conrad (Abby) and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Ethridge Masonic Cemetery at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 17, 2024.
