Wanda Kay Wilkerson was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on October 20, 1950, the daughter of the late Leverne William and Blanche Lucille Palmer Crowder.
On May 18, 1968, she was united in marriage to Jimmy Lester Wilkerson, who survives.
Wanda worked at Angelica, Hardin Medical Center Health & Rehab as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Savannah City Hall and most recently Suntrust Bank. She loved her cats, loved to work in her flower garden, sing and play piano in church, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Wanda went home to be with the lord on December 6, 2022, in Jackson, Tennessee at he age of 72 years, 1 month and 16 days.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jimmy Lester Wilkerson of Savannah, Tennessee, her son Jimmy Kelvin Wilkerson; and sisters, Louise Pitts of Alabama, Ruby Spears of Linden, Tennessee, and Alice Williams of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Eaton; and brother, C.W. Crowder.
