Mrs. Vivoal Lee Baskins, 74, went to a better place to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Wednesday, October 10, 2012. She was a loving daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Baskins was a native of Lauderdale County and a member of the Christian Faith Church.
Visitation will be Friday, October 12, 2012 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Christian Faith Church. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the church with burial in Antioch Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Dennis Hanvey.
Mrs. Vivoal Baskins was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lee Baskins; mother, Maudie Vickery; father, Raymond Vickery; brothers, Harliss, Jerry and Thomas Vickery.
She is survived by her; sons, Howard Baskins, Jr. and wife Karen, Tim Baskins and wife Ruby; grandchildren, Charlotte Stults, Kayla Burbank, Tiffany Bryant, and Harlie Baskins; great grandchildren, Clayton and Kensadie Baskins, Avery Holt, Jasmine Morgan, Blayden Kelley, Maddox Burbank, Anna Stults, and Crimson Bryant; brothers, Frankie, Waldon, and Harvey Vickery; sister, Dean Haney.
Active pallbearers will include Matthew Burbank, Michael Bryant, Tommy Wright, Dewayne Vickery, Michael Vickery, and Ricky Anthony.
Trenton Anthony and Clayton Baskins will serve as honorary pallbearers.
