Funeral services for Victoria Edmondson, age 60 of Lineville, will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 2:00 P. M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Bro. Joey Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Poplar Springs Cemetery. Ms. Edmondson passed away October 12, 2018 at her residence.
She was a native of Alpine, Alabama, but had lived most of her adult life in Lineville. She was a graduate of Winterboro High School and was currently employed as an inventory specialist at BAE Systems in Oxford where she had worked for several years. Ms. Edmondson was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved spending time fishing and enjoyed operating her Trade Day booths. She never met a stranger, and making people happy, made her happy. She brought love and joy to everyone she met, and she loved her Children and grandchildren.
Ms. Edmondson is survived by her children: Melanie Waldrop (John M. Saxon) of Ashland, Boyd Green (Gina) of Salem, DeWayne McVey of Lineville and Kelly Barber of Fultondale; 10 grandchildren: Josh, Kendra, and Acie Waldrop, Mollie and Jenna Saxon, Jay, Blake and Kay Cantone, Tegan Barber and Patrick Cornelius; five sisters: Gail Benton of Birmingham, Margie Carden of Sylacauga, Glenda Whitehead of Childersburg, Maxcine Carpenter (Jerry) of Sycamore and Cathy Phillips of Centerville; three brothers: Marvin Williams (Beverly) of San Jose, CA, Jerry Williams (Carolyn) Dallas, GA and Larry Williams (Mary) of Alpine; her special friend, Ray Fifarek of Ashland and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Odell and Ruby Thomas Williams; two children: Ronald and Anthony McVey; one brother, James Dexter Williams and one sister, Doris Hamlett.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Waldrop, Jeremy Hayes, John Jay Cantone, Jay Cantone, Jason Green and Aaron Langford.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville Monday October 15, 2018 from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M.
