Funeral service for Vera Louise Ballard, 91, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Fairview West Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Ballard passed away Monday, December 11th, 2017 at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born April 25, 1926 to Allen & Hattie Melton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lonis Ballard; son, John Ballard; daughter, Frances Baker; grandson, Gary Sterling; her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Donald Ballard, Leon (Ann) Ballard; daughters, Dean Sterling, Christine (Daniel) Mayhall; one brother, Emmett (Marie) Melton; Grandchildren, Edith (James) Roberts, Mike (Rachel) Sterling, Kathy (Jason) Cone, Tanya Ballard, Pam Fields, T.J. Mayhall; ten great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 12-2 at the funeral home.
