  Obituary of Tina Stinson WoffordTina Stinson Wofford was born in Decatur, Alabama October 9, 1962. Tina passed away peacefully at her home on March 1, 2025.

Her Celebration of Life service will be on Wednesday March 5, 2025, at Decatur Methodist Church beginning at 11:00 AM

Tina graduated from Decatur High School in 1981. She was a Varsity Cheerleader, Class Favorite, Homecoming Queen, a member of Sub Deb Sorority, and attended University of Alabama where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She majored in Nutrition.

Tina was a member of First Christian Church, Central United Methodist Church and she recently joined Decatur Methodist. Tina had a love for older adults and spent many years serving lunch to her church community.

Tina was an avid lover of Destin, Florida, Alabama Football, watching her nephew Tanner Burns play baseball, and the Atlanta Braves. She also enjoyed being a “Mimi”.

Tina is survived by her husband, Curtis Wofford, son Austin Wofford (Ellie), daughter, Elizabeth Iverson (Deacon), granddaughter, Elaine Iverson, sisters, Cindy Whitley (David), Lane Burns (Mike) and their children Alyson Hansard (Paul), Tyler Whitley, Link Burns (Allison) and Tanner Burns (Brooklyn). Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Elaine Stinson.

Pallbearers are Link Burns, Mike Burns, Tanner Burns, Vince Griffin, Deacon Iverson, Stanley Thompson, David Whitley, and Tyler Whitley.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Decatur Methodist Church.
