Taryn Michelle Jackson, age 69, passed from earth into heaven on August 15, 2024 in Birmingham, Alabama.
She was born March 21, 1955 to Terrell & Betty Frank Jackson. She was proceeded in death by her parents, brother Tandy Jackson, sister-in-law Carolyn Jackson, and niece Staley Jackson. She is survived by her brother Tee Jackson, sister-in-law Jackie Jackson, nephew Trent (Anna) Jackson, sister-in-law Diana Baker Jackson, nieces Tanya (Andrew) Russell and Carrie (Gary) Dault.
At age four she contracted Polio, requiring the life-long use of crutches. She never allowed her handicap to deter or discourage her in any way.
Michelle was a member of First Baptist Church Pulaski, where she played the piano for over 50 years. She graduated from Giles County High School and Belmont University. She loved music and taught piano for over 40 years.
As a child, Michelle put her trust in Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She faithfully and gladly served Him all the days of her life. She was a kind, considerate and independent person who always sought to help others despite her own physical limitations. She now treads the promised streets of gold without the aid of crutches.
A Celebration Service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church, Pulaski, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Music Ministry of First Baptist Church Pulaski.
