Shirley Peppers, 60, of Nauvoo, AL, passed away in Athens, AL on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Peppers was born on March 8th, 1963, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Eugene Homan and Lawatha Aleta Parker.
Mrs. Peppers is survived by her daughters Mary Ann Wilson (Michael) and Jessica Aleta Peppers (Robert Orr); son Jimmy Lester Martin, Jr. (Amber); grandchildren Daniel Wilson, David Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Logan White, Skyler White, Koby Johnson, Kason Lewis, Austin Long, Dylan Long, Issac Long, Shylynn Peppers, Jaylynn Martin, Josey Martin, Jasmin Martin, Jada Martin, Dakota, Logan, Austin, Brayden, and Drexyl Lee Peppers.
She is preceded in death by her son B.J. Peppers; and husband William Oliver Carr.
Mrs. Peppers loved the outdoors and enjoyed going camping, fishing, swimming, eating off the grill, and anything outside. She loved flowers, music, and animals. But most importantly, she loved her babies and grandbabies! She will be dearly missed.
