FRANKLIN COUNTY-Franklin County Sheriff Shannon Oliver released a statement concerning the arrest of seven people who have been charged with various drug related charges after a warrant had been served to a Russellville address:
“From the desk of Sheriff Shannon Oliver:
7 people have been arrested for Drug Trafficking after being found with a large quantity of Ecstasy.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Russellville Police Department, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, and U.S. Postal Inspectors served a search warrant at a residence just outside the city limits of Russellville off Hwy. 48 in Franklin County. All 7 people were located inside the residence along with a large amount of cash and the trafficking weight of Ecstasy. In total, over a half pound of Ecstasy was seized by law enforcement along with over $5600 in cash.
The 7 people were arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking and are currently in the Franklin County Detention Center.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
