Ruby Ward, 79, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Thursday.
She was preceded in death by husband, W.M. Ward; parents, Arnold and Nannie Glover; brother, Darryl Glover; and brother-in-law, Cecil Raney.
Surviving are sister, Sue Raney; sister-in-law, Patricia Glover; daughter, Penny (Danny) McAllister; son, Scottie (Lisa) Ward; grandchildren, Nichole Prince, Christina (Joey) Ruder, Brittany (John) McClanahan and Colby (Felicia) Ward; great grandchildren, Jaxson Ruder, Bryson McClanahan, Weston Ruder, Sophie Ward, Bryleigh McClanahan, Brier Ward, Clayton Ruder, and Crimsyn Ruder.
Visitation will be Saturday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Big Cove Holiness Church and Sunday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Services will be held at Big Cove Holiness Church, Sunday at 1:00 PM with Bro. Mark Warren, Bro. Josh Trotman, and Bro. Shirley Byrum officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Smith, Mitch Smith, Scott Stapler, Ritchie Whorton, Keith Witherow, Larry Cooper, Bransen Anderton, and Maverick Mason. Special pallbearer will be Cooper Broadway. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Smith, Bob Cooper, and Ryan Holland.
Interment will be in Byrd Cemetery.
