Essie Faye Palmer, 96, passed away Thursday February 27, 2025. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025, 1 p.m. until service time beginning at 2 p.m. at New Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Hodges. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors include, daughter, Linda Burnett and Janet Vandiver, son, Larry Palmer, daughter-in-law, Janice Palmer, grandchildren, Kristi Reich, Kenny and Jonathan Palmer, Miranda Chandler, Austin Vandiver and Brayden Palmer, nine great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, and nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by parents, Homer and Della Downs, husband, Olen Palmer, sons, Kenneth and Ronnie Palmer, sons-in-law, Gary Reich and Randy Burnett, daughter-in-law, Kristy Palmer.
