Mr. Robert Charles Hansen  Mr. Robert Charles Hansen passed away at his home in Woodville on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

Mr. Hansen was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 7, 1942 to Charles M. & Emma Hansen. By trade, he worked as an elevator constructor. In fact, construction and building was also a skilled hobby of his as well. During their lifetime together, Robert and his wife Janice built two homes for themselves, and built a home for each child. He used this passion and became involved with the Habitat for Humanity organization and was an Honorary Master Gardener. Another thing Robert enjoyed was spending time with his family and also helping others and became an active volunteer with the Jackson County Garden of Hope and the Jackson County Drug Court program.

He now joins his wife of 58 years, Janice Goral Hansen; his son, Steve Hansen; parents, Charles & Emma Hansen; and siblings, Dolores Williamson, Betty Hansen, Charlene Lewis, Merle McCallum, and little Betty Hansen. Left here to cherish his memory are his daughters, Laura Desrochers (Michael) and Wendy Trott (James); his grandchildren, Christopher Desrochers, Allison Desrochers, Samantha Trott (Chris), Dakota Trott (Alyssa), Jessie Trott, Tyler Trott, Coy Hansen, Wyatt Hansen (Kayla), Colten Hansen, and Wyley Hansen; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Grayson, Ensley, Forest, Willow, Chase, and Koe; his sisters-in-law, Betty Ann Goral-Allie, Shirley Mertke (Don), and Ruthie Goral; a close cousin, Daniel Robidou; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later time.
