Richard Leonard Starkel, age 100 of Crane Hill, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at his residence. He was born, November 8, 1924 to Leonard Elgar Starkel and Helen Starkel.
He was preceded in death by his, parents; wife, Joan Shaw Starkel; daughter, Catherine Horton; sister, Dorothy Thomas, brother, William Starkel.
Survivors include his daughters, Jodi (Kenneth) Lucas, Janet (Bruce) Gaddy, Susan (Chuk) DeMarsh, and Leslie (Eric) Norden, grandchildren, Jeffrey (Bethany) Bannon, Sean (Hannah) Gaddy, Andrew (Haley) Gaddy, Ian Norden, Zachary (Christa) Norden, Grace (Reid) Goodfellow, Case (Emilie) Norden, Kevin (Cate) Horton, Lindsey (Derrick) Duke, Kate (Attison) Swann; great grandchildren, Mason Gaddy, Palmer Gaddy, Starkel Gaddy, Lydia Brice Gaddy, Julian Goodfellow, Adelaide Horton, James Horton, Katie Duke, and Cooper Duke; and a host of family and friends.
