Kenneth Wayne Holman Kenneth Wayne Holman, 66 of Talladega County, passed on Monday, December 9, 2024, at home with his family and friends at his side. Services for him will be at 12:30 PM Saturday, December 14th at Ironaton Baptist Church, 5938 Ironaton Road, Talladega. The family will receive friends from 12 until the service begins.
Kenneth was born in Albertville, Alabama, on August 5, 1958, to James and Ava Ruth Holman. He grew up at the Presbyterian Home for Children of Talladega with his brothers. Ken was blessed with bonus parents, David and Joyce Hubbard also of Talladega.
Ken was a mechanic by trade and enjoyed buying and selling cars. In his younger years, Ken was a licensed pilot and owned his own plane. He loved thrift store shopping, yard sales, Alabama football and his family and friends. He especially loved helping his brother Ron after his wreck. He was known for lending a hand to those in need. Most important, Ken recently devoted his heart of Jesus and attended Ironaton Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Madison and Kendahl Holman; brothers, Curtis (Ana), Ronald (Bonnie), and Mark; sister, Nancy Holman; and aunt, Joann Hay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and brother in law Kerry Brown and sister in law Elaine Holman.
Ken is preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Wayne Holman, Jr; his parents; brothers, James and Danny Holman; and sister, Deborah Brown.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to LeA Willingham, Ken’s family, and Aveanna Hospice.
