Mr. Preston Wayne Whitehead, age 79 of Horton, Alabama passed away at his home on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Scottsboro Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gant Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Scottsboro Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 5-8 p.m.
Mr. Whitehead is survived by his wife, Evelyn Marie Whitehead; daughters, Amy Whitehead and Shelby Bryant; grandchildren, Blake Kowdis, April Lowery, Autumn Townson, Cheltsey Thompson, and Keltsey Maynor; and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston & Ruby Whitehead; and siblings, Peggy Batey, Jeanette Frazier, Larry Whitehead, and Jerry Whitehead.
