Richard Keith McCullough, 93, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, at his home in the Cairo community. He was beloved father and husband and a member of Cairo Baptist Church. He was always busy plowing mules, mowing, working the garden, and lending a hand to help people. He lived a long hard life but a good one.
Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Mary Swords McCullough, his children, Judy Graham (Bob), Vickie Ripley (Terry), Mary Kelly, Donnie McCullough (Joy), Elizabeth Barton (Darryl), Richard McCullough (Pam), and Becky Dillard (Jimmy), his 11 grandchildren, his 20 great-grandchildren, and his 4 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Eunice Rakestraw McCullough, his 2 sisters, Geraldine Young and Betty Rutledge, his brother, Ralph McCullough, his 2 grandchildren, Amy McCullough and Matt McCullough, and one great-grandchild, Emily Sneed.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. James Rutledge and Bro. Jeremy Huey officiating. Visitation will begin at 12PM. Burial will follow in Cairo Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Devin Fuller, Dustin Sneed, Barry Sneed, Britt Leslie, Holden McCullough, and Cody Dillard.
