Paul Wayne Nix, 69, passed away August 29, 2023, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed going to the racetrack, riding around, and sight-seeing. He enjoyed spending time with his special great nephew, Jaxon Nix.
Survivors include his daughter, Alisha Carter (Landon); granddaughter, Ashelyn Moore; three sisters, Judy Priest of Pontotoc, Mary Cook (John) of Ingomar, and Kathy Carlin (Trini) of Pontotoc; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Nix; his mother, Thelma Nix; two brothers, Billy Nix and Bobby Joe Nix; three sisters, Ruth Britt, Edna Dodds, and Linda Niblett; two nephews, Bobby Hollands and Dustin Nix; a niece Lori Niblett; and a great niece, Alexis Stephens.
Services will be Monday, September 4, 2023, at 11AM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Rev. James Lee Sparks IV officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, September 3rd 6-8PM and Monday, September 4th 10AM until service time. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cory Nix, Cody Priest, Allen Britt, Shawn Nix, Joseph Nix, and Justin Crook.
