Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Bethune, age 81 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
Funeral service will be held at Two o’clock pm on Friday, June 23, 2023, at the McRae Chapel with Bro. Mike Johnson, Bro. Alan Hallmark and Bro. Nolan Clackley officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethsaida Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bethune was born in Alabama on February 22, 1942 to Everette & Lona Marie Turner Douglas. She was the Co-Owner of Boaz Discount Furniture.
Mrs. Bethune is survived by her Husband: Jerry Bethune of Boaz. Daughter & Son-in-Law: Annita & Tom Szarzynski of New Hampshire. Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Larry & Donna Anderson of Mississippi, Phil & Linda Bethune of Boaz, Shannon & Deborah of Boaz. 10 Grandchildren & 16 Great Grandchildren. Sister: Marsha & Johnny Cannon of Guntersville. Special Friends: Shirley Ellis, Samantha Farrar, Deborah Lester.

Pallbearers will be Larry Lasseter, Mike Lusk, Jimmy Cornutt, Garry Thrasher, Terry Tucker, Joe Bethune.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Joseph Story, Mark Brazelton.
Mrs. Bethune was preceded in death by her Parents: Everette & Iona Marie Douglas. Daughter: Leslie Bethune.
