One Person Dead After Sunday Accident Near Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident that has taken the life of one person On Sunday, October 24:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:40 p.m. Sunday, Oct0ber 24, has claimed the life of a Harvest man.

Christopher P. Donahue, 45, was fatally injured when the 2005 Pontiac Grand AM he was driving was stuck by a 2014 GMC 1500 pickup driven by Nettie L. Pruitt, 68, of Huntsville. Donahue was not utilizing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Alabama 53 near Harvest Road, approximately 12 miles north of Huntsville, in Madison County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate.”
