Michael Joseph Dreimiller, 79, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, April 10th, 2025. Mr. Dreimiller was born on January 30th, 1946, in New York, to Joseph and Mina (Gertsch) Dreimiller.
Mr. Dreimiller is survived by his wife, Denise Dreimiller; son, Ryan Dreimiller (Jennifer) of Waitsfield, VT; step-daughter, Erica Lovell (Jim) of Athens, AL; step-son, Justin Miller (Jessecca) of Athens, AL; grandchildren, Alessandra and Kai Dreimiller of Waitsfield, VT, Ava and Aubrey Lovell of Athens, AL, and Nix Miller of Athens, AL; brother -in-law, Roger Shireman (Janet) of Athens, AL; sister-in-law, Tammy Lamar (Jeff) of Athens, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mina Dreimiller of Albany, NY; first wife, Lynetta Dreimiller; and son, Kevin Dreimiller.
The funeral service will be Monday, April 14th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m., at the chapel. Pallbearers will be Ryan Dreimiller, Jim Lovell, Justin Miller, Michael Benedetta, Jeff Lamar, and Roger Shireman. Honorary Pallbearer will be Barry Sammet. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Dreimiller’s hobbies included bike riding and running 5K and 10k races. He loved learning, was a foodie, enjoyed traveling, and loved spoiling his wife and family.
