Michael Adrian Lamons, 49, of Guntersville passed away on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, at with his loving family by his side. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 20th, 2021. Burial will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens.
Michael was born and raised in Marshall County. He was a 1990 graduate of Albertville High School. He was the youngest child born to Carl and Dianne Lamons. He was the little brother of Linda and Stacie who either babied him or beat him up, depending on what he was into that day. He started working for Tim Bolinger at Chevron while he was in high school and continued working for him after he graduated. He branched out on his own and ran his own business, Holsters for Less, while working for ProTech. His last job was working with the ABC Board.
Michael was known for his caring and loving nature. Many of his friends met Michael when he went out of his way to lift them up when they were down. He always managed to help others in their time of need.
His parents and his sisters knew him as the biggest prankster, even when he was sick, he managed to make others laugh. Michael managed to aggravate his sisters even in the past week. He was an avid Auburn fan, who loved nothing more than watching his Tigers win games, especially when they beat Alabama.
Michael is survived by his parents Carl and Dianne Lamons; his sisters Linda Finley and her husband John; Stacie Swords and her husband Barry; his nephews Kirk Finley, Thomas Finley, Jacob Swords and Matthew Swords and great-nephew Grantham Finley.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 20th, 2021, from 11:00 am until the start of the service.
