Mary Jo Withem Pressley went to be with the Lord on August 29, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born the only child of Don and Jessie Withem on April 21, 1937, in Glouster, Ohio.
There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Fairview the Grace Place in Falkville, Al. There will be a viewing/visitation from 1pm until 3pm with the celebration to follow. It will officiated by Dr. Milan Dekich.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Pressley, her dear son Kevin Pressley, and her parents.
Being an only child, she wanted to have a big family, and the Lord blessed her. She is survived by:
Daughter: Sharon (Bill) Braun, Grandsons Brian and Don Stiles
Son: Garry (Lissa) Pressley, Grandsons Whit and David Pressley
Son: Steve (Mary) Pressley, Grandsons Todd and Kyle Pressley
Daughter in Law: DeeDee Pressley, Granddaughters Gail Drane, Tamra Pressley, and Danielle Pressley
Daughter: Sue (Brian) Eubanks, Grandsons Brandon, Benjamin, Brad, and Barrett Eubanks
She had 37 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
She felt blessed by the spouses of all her grandchildren and enjoyed the times the family was together.
She enjoyed a full life of family, watching the kids and grandchildren play sports. Most of her life if you went with her, she drove. She volunteered in the school Booster Club when her kids were in school and served for several years as the church treasurer at Fairview.
She was thankful for her friends and neighbors Kim White and Pam Urick during her later years for the time they shared with her.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Fairview the Grace Place Building Fund or the Carpenters Cabinet Food Pantry in Falkville AL.
