Mary Doris Moss, 85, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, March 16th, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. Moss was born on September 23rd, 1937, to George and Lucy Mae Tribble.
Mrs. Moss is survived by her daughters Brenda Terry, Cynthia Moss, and Marsha Currera; son Billy Ray Moss; brother Ed Tribble; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Moss is preceded in death by her husband Billy Moss; granddaughter Amber Shea Steelman; parents George and Lucy Mae Tribble; four brothers; and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 18th, 2023, at Sandlin Cemetery, at 1:00 p.m., with Donald Terry officiating. The visitation will be Saturday, March 18th, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Brandon Moss, Jeremy Moss, Michael Moss, Anthony Steelman, Marcus Moss, Presley Cowan, and Jonathan Cowan.
Mrs. Moss loved gardening, cooking, being a Mawmaw, church, and loved her family and friends. She also loved going to the Fish Creel.
