Mrs. Mary Bianne Pennington, age 77, of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Tranquility Residence Hospice in Austell, GA. She was born June 15, 1946, in Hickman, TN, was a former employee of Kingston Timers, worked several years at Stewarts Pharmacy as a pharmacy assistant, was currently an employee of Warren Farmers Co-Op, and was a member of Newtown The Baptist Church. Mrs. Pennington was preceded in death by parents Oliver B. and Erma Christine Courtney Cowan, husband John Douglas Pennington, and a brother Billy Joe Cowan.
Survivors include her daughters Regenia (John) Rovsek and Katrina Pennington Thompson, granddaughters Hannah Grace Rovsek and Abigail Pennington Thompson.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 25, 2024 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Martin Bell will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The Pennington Family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Sunday from 12:00 P.M. Noon until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Newtown The Baptist Church Building Fund in lieu of flowers.
