Obituary of Margaret Ann ParmerMargaret Ann Parmer, age 85, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at her residence. She was born August 25, 1939 to Frank and Kate Thompson Wilder. Ann was a faithful member of Longview Baptist Church, and enjoyed studying and reading her Bible. She touched over a hundred children by babysitting in her home for many years. Ann was an avid Pontotoc Warrior fan, and attended every possible event her grandchildren and great grandchildren was involved in. Family was very important to Ann and her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be at 5:00 P.M., Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Longview Baptist Church, with Rev. Kerry Nelson officiating, burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home is honored to assist the Parmer family with the arrangements.

Survivors include her six children, James Roy Parmer (Trava),Lisa Riggs, Elizabeth Ross, Jeff Parmer (Kathy), Renee Bailey (Joe) and Jerry Parmer (Melissa); sixteen grandchildren, Daniel Parmer (Heather), Luke Parmer (Brianna), Korei Brazeal, Jordyn Thornton (Kyle), Lexi Brazeal, Devin Riggs (Hayley), Nathan Ross (Erin), Ryan Parmer (Kaylee), Justin Parmer (Sarah),Avery Bailey (Alan), Liza Bailey (Taylor), Eli Bailey (Kaylee), Wesley Rea, Cooper Parmer, Noah Parmer, Miles Parmer and Trevor Parmer;twenty nineteen great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Jones, Wiley Parmer, Abram Parmer, Lexi Brazeal (Justin), Adelin Mathis (Aidan), Maggie Blake Tutor, Kate Thornton, Mary Thornton, Lucy Thornton, Essie Vance Ross, Everett Ross, Aryan Parmer, Archer Parmer, Arlynn Parmer, Altas Parmer, Jagger Parmer, Josie Parmer, Margot Larson, Wesley “Wes” Rea and she was eagerly awaiting the arrival of three more great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Martin Parmer; her granddaughter, April Marie Parmer; a sister, Evelyn Patterson and a brother, Bobby Dean Wilder.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 7 P.M. and Sunday from 4 to 5 P.M., all at Longview Baptist Church.
