Louise Beshires Cloud was born June 13, 1922 in Silerton, TN the daughter of the late John Adams and Rona Magdalene Roland Beshires. Mrs. Cloud departed this life on September 26, 2015 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 3 Months, 13 Days.
She was raised in Chester County and attended Chester County schools. She was united in marriage to Charles Albert Cloud on in 1950 . They made their home in Henderson where they operated Cloud Taxi. Mrs. Cloud also worked for Salant & Salant for several years. Mr. Cloud died in 1979 and Mrs. Cloud continued to make her home on West Main Street. She loved to garden, yard work and raise her beautiful flowers. She also loved to watch singings and basketball on TV, especially Memphis and Kentucky. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Henderson.
She is survived by a daughter, Cecilia Edwards and husband Lynn of Henderson, TN; a son, Jerry Cloud and wife Sheila of Henderson, TN; two sisters, Faye Crouse of Henderson, TN, Sandra Lott of Henderson, TN; four brothers, Clyde Beshires of Henderson, TN, Haven Beshires of Little Rock, AR, Buster Beshires of Henderson, TN, Jerry Beshires of Henderson, TN; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, J.L., Wayne, Cornis, Larry and Bobby Beshires.
Services will be held on September 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Casey Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Rev. Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in the Henderson City Cemetery at Henderson, Tennessee. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Monday until 1:00 PM service time at Casey Chapel.
