Lola Jarrett – Obituary

Lola Jarrett was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 24, 1934, the son of the late George Hubert and Mary Madgeline Stinnett Jarrett.

On July 14, 1976, he was united in marriage to Reda Mae Williams, who survives.

Mr. Jarrett retired after 23 years serving his country in the United States Army. He later retired after working for 14 years for West Hardin Elementary School. Mr. Jarrett was a good Christian man and loved going to River Heights Pentecostal Church, where he was a member. He enjoyed being outdoors, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Jarrett departed this life on October 22, 2017 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 7 months, and 28 days.

In addition to his wife, Reda of 41 years, he is survived by his four children, Timothy Jarrett and his wife Diana of Selmer, Tennessee, Tina Jarrett of Savannah, Tennessee, Deborah Augero and her husband George of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, and Rebecca Hays of Savannah, Tennessee.

three step daughters, Cindy Blanton and her husband Carter, Lucy DeShazier and her husband Johnny and Mary Beavers and her husband Randy, all of Savannah, Tennessee

30 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren

two sisters, Georgie Love of Columbia, Tennessee and Barbara Cagle and her husband Bob of Selmer, Tennessee

five brothers, Edward Jarrett and his wife Carolyn of Columbia, Tennessee, Jerry Jarrett of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, Charles Jarrett of Savannah, Tennessee, Earnest Jarrett and his wife Peggy of Morris Chapel, Tennessee and Robert Jarrett and his wife Nina of Adamsville, Tennessee

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one stepson, Bobby Beavers, two stepdaughters, Rita Halfacre and Patricia Beavers, one brother, Harold Jarrett, one sister, Louise Smith, one infant sister, Imogene Jarrett and two grandchildren.
