Visitation will be Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 1pm-3pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST. Bro. Roy Bennett will officiate the service. Born March 5, 1965 in Corinth, MS., Mr. Harris passed from this life on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was the owner of Ken’s Scrap Metal and of the Christian faith. Kenneth loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and he enjoyed going to the mountains, collecting antiques, taking care of his dog, Max and going to antique car shows. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Christie Childs-Harris; son, Caleb Harris and fiancée Cheyenne; daughter, Kecia Smith (Leon Tatum), step sons, Michael Smith and Sam Thomas; step daughter, Brittany Goolsby; 14 grandchildren, Kinzley Tatum, Kyleigh Tatum, Kaizer Tatum; Alazia Goolsby, Kingzton Goolsby, Keri Prather, Jude Prather, Brody Thomas, Brilee Thomas, Jase Thomas, Pearlie Thomas, Kynleigh Thomas, Kali Thomas and Alex Smith ; 3 step grandchildren, Kyia Peak, Kaytlyn Peak and Keyairra Garner; brothers, Ricky Harris (Darla), Terry Harris (Emma) and William Harris (Tammy):sister, Nicole Vinson (Wesley); sisters-in-law, Shelia Harris and Pam Harris; step mother, Vickie Harris ; mother-in-law, Millie Faye Smith ; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Perry Neal Harris; mother, Bettie Sue Gammill Harris and his brothers, Lynn Harris, Jimmy Harris and Nicky Harris. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Kenneth Dewayne Harris.
