Jettie P. Jewel, age 84, of Hamilton, passed away December 30, 2024, at her residence. She was born Friday, October 18, 1940, in Hamilton, Alabama to Leonard Nixon and Eva Dell Yeilding Nixon.
Visitation will be will 12-2 p.m. on Thursday, January 02, 2025, at Hamilton Church of Christ the services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Ted Burleson officiating and the interment at Shiloh Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, David Jewell; daughters: Sherry Wiginton (Paul) Shawn Adams (Bud), Scarlet Harris (Frank); grandchildren, Amber, Zach, Fallon, Cassie, Jetta, Shane, Tisha, Seth; fourteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Margie Mays, Eva Carol Sartain; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Eva Dell Nixon; siblings, Hayward (Virginia) Nixon, Joel (Doris) Nixon, Norma Lou (Roy) Brooks, Gennetta Cayson, infant brothers and sisters.
